Cozy, feel-good trip to sunny Milan, Italy.
This portfolio is a result of my trip to Milan, where the days were spent working abroad and the evenings exploring the city and what it really means to eat authentic Italian food. As a passionate cook, I wanted to learn how dishes are prepared here, trying different restaurants each day. One surprise was discovering that I actually don’t prefer authentic Carbonara, after visiting a Roman restaurant. Turns out, I like the knockoff version better—who knew?
Milan was a great place for street photography, especially with the crowds around the city center and many atmospheric streets following the river. I spent some lovely time at Mag Cafe by the river, enjoying its cool lighting, interesting menu, and friendly staff. One thing that stood out was how much effort locals put into dressing up, allowing me to capture more interesting photos where they really stood apart from the wandering tourists.
